WHA rigging personnel work with complete parachute systems through inspection, packing, maintenance and applicable repair. Service scope depends on the parachute type, available technical data, equipment condition and applicable regulatory, customer or programme requirements.

Parachute Inspection

Depending on the system and applicable technical documentation, inspection may cover the complete assembly and its principal components.

  • Canopy, fabric, seams and stitching
  • Suspension lines, risers and webbing
  • Harness, container and attachment points
  • Deployment bag, pilot chute and deployment components
  • Closing system, hardware and general serviceability

Packing & Repacking

Support may include applicable personnel parachutes, reserves, pilot emergency parachutes, seat and back-mounted emergency parachutes, sport reserves and military parachute systems.

Maintenance & Repair

Where supported by applicable technical data and within the permitted service scope, WHA can perform maintenance, component work and applicable repairs. Work outside the available technical or certificate privileges is identified before service proceeds.

Serviceability Assessment

Following inspection, WHA can identify visible defects, wear or maintenance requirements and advise whether the requested work can be completed within the available technical and service scope.
