Wuhu, China — 30 March 2026 — Operation Jurchen 2026, an international military parachuting event organised by Anhui Yawu Aviation Equipment Limited (WHA Parachutes), was successfully conducted from 27 to 30 March 2026. Parachutists from China, the Czech Republic, Singapore and other professional backgrounds participated in a programme combining theoretical instruction, ground training and live parachute operations.
Organised and coordinated by WHA, the 2026 event was conducted across locations in Anhui and Henan provinces. Participants completed a structured programme covering theoretical instruction, equipment familiarisation, ground preparation and live parachute jumps, while exchanging experience in military parachuting techniques, training methodologies and equipment operation.
Parachute systems used during the event included MC1-1 military personnel parachutes and T-10R reserve parachutes manufactured at WHA's production facility in Wuhu, providing equipment support throughout the training programme.
Building an International Platform for Military Parachuting Exchange
First established by WHA in 2020, Operation Jurchen was created as an international platform for professional and military parachuting exchange.
The programme brings together parachutists from different countries, organisations and training backgrounds to share operational experience, training methods and technical knowledge through classroom instruction, practical training and live parachute operations.
During Operation Jurchen 2026, WHA coordinated the programme from initial theoretical and ground training through equipment preparation, aircraft operations, airborne activities and post-jump support.
Participants represented a diverse range of professional backgrounds, including serving and former military personnel, public security and emergency-service personnel, as well as experienced professional parachutists. This diversity provided an opportunity for participants trained under different systems to operate together and exchange perspectives on parachute equipment, procedures and training practices.
Connecting Operational Experience with Product Development
As both the initiator and organiser of Operation Jurchen, WHA continues to integrate practical parachuting experience with the development and manufacture of personnel parachute systems.
Events such as Operation Jurchen provide WHA with an opportunity to engage directly with experienced parachutists operating under different training systems and professional environments. Feedback gathered through practical use and technical discussions contributes to the continued evaluation and development of WHA personnel parachutes and associated equipment.
The programme also supports broader professional engagement between parachuting communities from different countries, creating opportunities for continued technical exchange and international cooperation within the military and professional parachuting sectors.
WHA products are currently in service with customers across more than 15 countries and regions worldwide. Operation Jurchen 2027
Following the successful completion of the 2026 programme, preparations for the next Operation Jurchen are expected to begin.
Operation Jurchen 2027 is planned for March 2027. WHA intends to further develop the programme, expand international participation and strengthen its role as a professional platform for military and specialist parachuting exchange.
