MILITARY CYPRES 2
Military CYPRES 2, released in 2003, is the world's most advanced automatic umbrella opener (AAD). It combines German high-tech engineering technology with excellent quality and reliability.
CYPRES is the most advanced automatic umbrella opener currently on the market. More than 100 countries rely on Military CYPRES in paratrooper missions. Overall, there are more than 100,000 CYPRES devices currently in use.

In training mode, a simple switch operation before boarding can enhance the safety of skydiving in the next 14 hours. This unique and simple operation method minimizes the possible operational errors of nervous soldiers. As long as it is on the ground, the electronic processing unit automatically compensates for changes in air pressure due to weather changes, frequently during its operation. CYPRES senses the takeoff and acceleration of the aircraft and begins monitoring all movements of the paratrooper. Soldiers can focus their full attention on the current mission.
During the mission, Military CYPRES 2 demonstrated its superior technology. It can be switched into operating mode in a pressurized cabin in flight and can be set up for any target - operation is as easy as pressing a button.
This system is an independent backup safety system that will not interfere with or restrict normal skydiving activities. It is intended to be activated in emergency situations where the paratrooper is unable to perform correct procedures. Mission objectives are not threatened.
CYPRES operates based on air pressure input from the sensing unit, and the speed and altitude sensors generate activation criteria. Depending on the CYPRES model used, it will activate at different preset heights when the speed exceeds the set value.
Activation of the reserve parachute is initiated by the EOS release unit (cutter). This cutter simply cuts off the closed ring of the spare parachute container, thus beginning the deployment process of the spare parachute. This unique activation method was invented and patented by Airtec founder Helmut Cloth in 1987. Since 1991, this method has become the industry standard for automatic opening device technology.
To date, we have recorded over 3,000 lives saved.
